RRVAS will adhere to all Covid-19 safety protocols. Masks will be required in all indoor spaces on the fair grounds. Please remember to bring your mask, wash your hands often and/or sanitize.

All events are the 2021 fair are subject to change or cancellation depending on Covid-19 restrictions.
There will be a vendor blender/farmers market and penny table in the arena. We are waiting to hear back on times. We are looking for items for the penny table.
Royal Canadian Legion (Emo Branch) will be attending with their beer garden. They will be in the new pavilion next to the small stage. Hours are Friday and Saturday 11 am to midnight.
The Nite Hawk Band will be performing on the small stage on Friday and Saturday from 2-6 pm
Mini King & Queen contest will be on Saturday at 1 pm after the parade on the small stage.
Fair Queen crowning has changed to 7 pm on Thursday on the small stage.
Stock car racing will commence as usual on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6 pm.
Food Booths will be provided by the Fort Frances Lakers, Milk Booth, and Kelvin & Shelley Caul.
Gate admission is a FREE WILL donation. We are unsure how many people will be attending the fair this year, so we ask that you throw a few bucks in the jar when you enter. It is very expensive to put on a fair of this caliber and we appreciate your donation at the gate. Please use the gate on Colonization Road (main entrance closest to Cloverleaf).
We received a generous donation from Rick Neilson for a honey competition. Calling all bee farmers – submit your honey for the honey competition. Prizes will be $100 for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third.
Go cart racing will be on Saturday at 9 am in the middle of the stock car track.
Bouncy Castles are coming to the Fair! We are hiring bouncy castles to attend the fair with 6 of their bouncy castles. Admission will be $5.00 per person, per day. They will be open from Noon to 6 pm Friday and Saturday. Please note – Parental supervision is required. Children must wear socks so remember to bring them with you.
Fair Games featuring Fair Queen Royalty – the fair queens will be providing FREE entertainment for the family on the main grounds. They are planning some fun games and prizes to be won. This will take place on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm on the main grounds.
The Baptist Church will be providing children’s activities on Friday and Saturday from noon to 6pm on the main grounds.
Equipment displays this year will be Peterbilt, Fort Frances GM, and Sunset Country Ford (Beyak Automotive Group). They will be on the main grounds.
Early Iron Club will be hosting a Show N Shine starting at noon on Saturday on the main grounds.
We are working on getting the local tractor club to participate as well. We are waiting for confirmation on that as well.
4-H Beef Show is a GO! This will be the same as other years. Steer weigh-in is on Friday at 5 pm. The beef show starts at 8 am on Saturday and the steer auction is at 4 pm on Saturday. Sorry, the barns are not open to the public this year due to 4-H Covid regulations.
Horse Show is also a GO! This year we will be doing a one-day gymkhana starting at 1 pm on Saturday after the parade. The horse barns will not be open so everyone will be able to work out of their trailers.
The parade theme is Celebrate 2021!
We are in the process of acquiring our lottery license to host a 50/50 draw at the fair. Look for the ticket booth under the pavilion. The draw will be made on Saturday at 7 pm.
We are working on a revised list of exhibits we will be accepting for the Exhibition Hall. There will be NO FOOD ITEMS this year due to Covid-19 restrictions. A revised fair book for that section will be posted shortly. Exhibition Hall items will be accepted Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
